The Quarterdeck is hand built in a nautical style. It has a unique kitchen/sitting area that has cupboards made from whiskey barrels, french oak slab worktops and shelving. The kitchen is fully equipped with mini electric oven/air fryer, double halogen hob, coffee pod machine, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, pots and pans and utensils. The sitting area has a twin seat antique sofa, pouf, wood burning stove and wall panel heater.
There's a wetroom with underfloor heating, rainfall shower, wc, shaver socket and a Kasbah basin.
A door from the sitting area leads to a small utility room where there's a stacked washing machine and dryer, full sized Samsung fridge feezer with water dispenser, a small wash basin and shelf storage.
The bedroom is accessed via an oak staircase with hand carved oak and chain balustrades. There are two single antique oak beds which can be joined to make a super king size bed. On the headboards of each bed are reclaimed ocean liner reading lamps and a pirate's chest with spare blankets. There are three Velux windows which make this a lovely bright room. These windows are fitted with blackout blinds. Bedlinen, towels and toiletries are provided.
The property has a porch next to the entrance with hooks for hanging wet foul weather gear. This area also houses fuel for the wood burning stove, a boot dryer, an outside tap and a small enclosed garden with a table and chairs.
The accommodation has it's own fast wi-fi and good mobile signal.
Parking is on our croft next to the roadside.

- The Quarterdeck is licenced to sleep a maximum of two persons for holiday purposes only.

- The property is no smoking.
- One pet dog permitted.
- Full payment for the reservation is by bank transfer at the time of booking.
- Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel your booking you will be eligible for a 50% refund as long as we have 10 days notice of the cancellation. We strongly advise taking out comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellation costs for your stay at the Quarterdeck. If you chose not to then you accept responsibility for any loss that you may incur due to your cancellation.
- Check in is from 4pm and check out is 10am on departure day.
- Guests are to ensure the property, fixtures and fittings are left in clean and tidy condition, Guests should take reasonable care of the property and to report any breakages or damage before departure.
- The property owners reserve the right to enter the accommodation for the purpose of inspection or to enable any repairs.
